Samut Sakhon, well-known as the fishing port and centre of fresh seafood of Thailand, organizes a Seafood Festival during March every year. The annual event underlines the province’s reputation as the seafood hub of the country. Throughout the five-day event, visitors can buy seafood products fresh from the sea, as well as tasting a great variety of seafood dishes from leading restaurants in Samut Sakhon.
