Pa Hin Ngam National Park

The natural rock formations in Pa Hin Ngam National Park in Chaiyaphum were originally only known to local people. But, in 1985, they were discovered by a local district officer who recommended that the area be delcared a national park. This happened the following year. The area consists of a mountain range such as Pung Haui Mountain, about 200-800 meters above sea level. The forest is semi-evergreen forest mixed with deciduous forest. Around July to August, Dok Krachiao or Siam Tulips, bloom throughout the park and are popular with visitors. Pha Sut Phaen Din, a cliff edge viewpoint also draws many tourists as do the rock formations. One of them is shaped like the FIFA World Cup trophy.
